I was intrigued with this method of making a ‘bowl from a board’. It’s the most economical use of materials, and results in a pretty nice bowl.
About the sound track: I’ve always loved this tune by Simon Jeffes of the Penguin Cafe. I struggled to play it on guitar and now and then got the whole piece up to playing speed. With the aid of virtual instruments I was able to orchestrate a complete performance that I think holds together quite nicely. If you didn’t recognize that all of the instruments on this are from sampled sounds performed on my keyboard, then I think it succeeded.
